- Landing page
A landing page is a website with thematically targeted content specifically tailored to the target group. It can be a page that provides specific information as part of a campaign, serves to recruit employees or sheds more light on a specific topic. Users reach a landing page by clicking on a digital advertising medium, for example.
- Launch
Launch means something like start. It refers to the publication of a project or product. This can be the launch of a new website or the introduction of a new product - e.g. a smartphone. A brand can also launch a new product. One form of launch is a relaunch. Here, something existing is replaced by an update - e.g. a further developed logo, an adapted website or an improved successor product. Before the actual launch or relaunch of websites or apps, companies often publish a beta version in order to collect user feedback and make any necessary adjustments.
- Lead
A lead is a potential customer who is interested in a product or brand, for example, and is willing to provide their contact details. This can be triggered by targeted marketing measures by the company. A qualified lead is when the customer signals a certain willingness to buy. The aim of generating as many leads as possible is to enter into dialog with potential customers from the target group and create concrete incentives to buy.
- Link building/link building
Link building stands for the optimization of the number and quality of so-called backlinks. These are links that are placed on a website and refer to other websites. Users understand the placement of such links as a recommendation and in many cases also use them. Search engines can also recognize such links, which can have a positive effect on the ranking. The decisive factor for the success of link building today is the most natural link growth possible. Too many links reduce the user experience, are perceived as annoying and can also be penalized by Google with a lower ranking.

- Local SEO
Local SEO is a sub-area of search engine optimization. It is used to improve local search queries on Google & Co. If the search query has a local connection, websites with the corresponding reference to the region receive a higher ranking. Used in a targeted manner, local SEO helps to make a company visible in the exact region in which it is located or in which it does business. Special measures are required for local SEO. Google provides companies with Google My Business (or now Google Business Profile) for this purpose. For example, the company name, address and opening hours are entered here and later displayed in the search query.
