Trapcode Form for After Effects

Control particles and master 3D objects down to the smallest detail - Trapcode Form is a particle system with which you can bring models to life and effectively enhance every single point according to your ideas. Motion designer Peter Leopold opens the Form magic box with you and explains step by step how to make the most of the plug-in's functions.

After you have learned what is possible with Trapcode Form in the first tutorial, you will dive straight into the world of particles and learn how to use the various functions and adapt them to your purposes: Model shape layers from which you can create effects and influence your shape grid with so-called layer maps. Access spectra with Audio React and use them to change the visualization of your shape layers. Create containers that contain your shape layers and create mirror-image symmetry effects with the integrated "Kaleidospace".

Shape offers countless possibilities that will noticeably expand your After Effects horizons. In a final project, you will create a unique effect and apply your newly acquired knowledge directly and practically. The corresponding work materials are included!

As a bonus, you will receive an introductory eleven-minute video on the use of plug-ins in After Effects. Here you will learn in detail how to install third-party plug-ins to enhance the Adobe program with powerful functions.
