Importing brushes into Photoshop Elements using the brush tool

You can easily add new brushes in Photoshop Elements via the context menu of the activated brush tool:

1. Open Photoshop Elements.
2. Activate the Expert workspace.
3. Activate the brush tool(shortcut B).
4. Open the selection menu for selecting the brush shape behind Brush.
5. Open the dialog menu in the selection menu.
6. There, click on Load brushes...
7. Select the brush files to be imported in ABR format on your computer.
8. Click on Load.

Importing brushes via the preset manager

You can add new brushes in Photoshop Elements via the presets manager:

1. Open Photoshop Elements.
2. Open the Presets Manager under Edit.
3. In the Presets Manager, select the brushes in the Preset selection (shortcut Ctrl+1).
4. Click on Attach...
5. Select the brush files to be imported in ABR format on your computer.
6. Click on Load.
7. Click on Done.
