In the first section, you will find out how to choose a suitable location for your car shoot and how you can get hold of other cars as easily as possible - apart from your private vehicle and your friends' cars. Planning, preparation and organization are therefore essential, as is choosing the right equipment .
Then it's out into the open air with all its lighting pitfalls and possibilities. Your trainer will show you how to use which camera settings to take photos in natural light or capture a sunset, paying attention to the appropriate position of the car and the overall composition of the image . In post-processing, you will overlay images, carry out retouching and focus on raw development. So that the Photoshop and Lightroom tools don't have to do too much work, Florian Haizmann even presents his efficient car cleaning workflow.
In the following sections, things get dynamic and fast-paced - photographing cars while driving . You will learn how to take so-called pull-along shots and how to photograph the other vehicle from one vehicle during a car-to-car shoot. In the grand finale, three flashes are set up around a car to skillfully put its exterior in the right light. Interior and detail shots are also taken of the selected subject - creating product photos that are also suitable for commercial use.
