Photoshop shapes are vector-based graphics that are saved in CSH format. To import and apply them in Photoshop, proceed as follows:

  1. Activate the Custom Shape tool.
  2. Open the selection for the shapes in the context menu of the tool.
  3. Open the menu behind the cogwheel in the upper right area of the shape selection.
  4. Click on Import shapes...
  5. Select the shapes on your computer (CSH format) that you want to import and click on Load.

Now select the desired shape in the shape selection and drag it with the Custom shape tool. Hold down the Shift keyto draw shapes proportionally.
