Photoshop actions are saved in ATN format. In principle, the format can be opened with any Photoshop version. However, Photoshop actions can use a wide variety of Photoshop functions during the individual work steps, both older and newer ones. Therefore, pay close attention to the compatibility information for each individual action that you want to download from TutKit.com in order to avoid handling problems.

Many of the actions already run from CS2 or CS3 and can sometimes even be used in Photoshop Elements. For other actions, we make sure that they are at least compatible with CS5 or CS6. In principle, the actions should work with the CC versions of Photoshop.

Some TutKit.com actions are based on the use of the Photoshop oil paint filter. You will receive two ATN files for each of these, one for Photoshop CS6 and one for Photoshop CC from version 2015.5. If you encounter problems when running these actions, please check here to see to what extent the oil paint filter works for you.

Please note: Predefined actions often use additional objects that are delivered with the download. For example, textures as JPG files or special brush tips in ABR format. Please make sure that these are available locally on your system during the action to avoid problems when running the ATN file.
