Hundreds of photo presets are available on TutKit.com for use in Lightroom. Some of them are available in both the older LRTEMPLATE and XMP formats, others are only available in the current XMP format. You can use the presets in the following programs:

XMP files for Lightroom and Photoshop

Presets in the current XMP format can be used with the following Lightroom versions and via Camera Raw:

• Adobe Lightroom CC
• Adobe Lightroom mobile applications
• Adobe Photoshop from version CS4 with Camera Raw
• Adobe Bridge with Camera Raw

LRTEMPLATE files for Lightroom

The LRTEMPLATE format used to be common for presets in Lightroom. You can use these presets in the following programs:

• Adobe Lightroom from version 4
• Adobe Lightroom Classic CC from version 7 (from version 7.3 we recommend XMP files)

Overview of the Adobe Lightroom programs

Under the name Lightroom, Adobe now offers a whole range of applications that are used to develop, optimize and manage photos. In a rough overview, a distinction can be made between the following variants:

The original desktop variant Lightroom was developed up to and including version 6 and offered by Adobe for purchase without a subscription.

Adobe introduced version 7 of the program in October 2017. Since then, Lightroom has been part of the Adobe Creative Cloud and can be purchased as part of a subscription. At the same time, the software was given a new name: Adobe Lightroom Classic CC.

In the course of the transition from the purchase version Lightroom to the subscription version Lightroom Classic CC, a new program was also introduced: Lightroom CC. This addresses cloud-based and mobile working, for example by storing photos in cloud libraries. In addition, separate Lightroom mobile applicationsare available for the iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
